DETF力傳感器的諧振頻率是其尺寸、電極結構和施加的力的函數。壓縮或拉伸傳感器會導致相應的頻率變化,如圖2所示。一旦校準,測量頻率的變化就會得到所施加的力。 由于DETF力傳感器基于頻率原理工作,因此它們不受振幅噪聲以及傳感器頻率以外頻率的噪聲的影響。因此,系統中的信號可以在全振幅下工作,從而避免了通常困擾低電平測量的噪聲。
